Service Description
Learn hand building skills to make a clay pot, add embellishments to give your pot a cute animal face. A return visit to paint your pot once it has been fired is included in the price. The pot is about 18cm tall. Suitable for anyone over 8yrs old Dates: Sunday 23rd August 11am-12.30pm Sunday 6th September 10:30-12pm Price: £35 Duration: 1.5hours Location: The Spotty Dog Pottery, 5 Barton Street, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, GL20 5PP Skill Level: Perfect for children aged 8 years + and adults All materials and tools supplied Approx height 8cm Further Information A lovely workshop for everyone (children must be over 8 yrs). You will create a clay pot which will be fired then it will; be ready for you to retain and paint it. this is all included in the price. It will be take 4-6 weeks before the pot is ready to be painted. You don’t need any art experience and you will learn some tips and tricks too. Suitable for beginner. An adult is required to stay with a children aged 8- 12 years. Not suitable for children under 8 years. All materials are supplied. The workshops includes using clay, tools and paints. Your clay creation will need to be taken away, dried and fired in a kiln. Due to the drying of the clay, the process can take 3-4 weeks. . You can either paint it on the day or paint it after the first firing at no extra charge for this. Items will be ready for collection from The Spotty Dog Place or can be sent via the post for an extra fee. Tea, coffee and squash and biscuits are available during the workshop. Please notify the tutor of any allergies. Booking is essential, as numbers are limited to 8 students. Payment due when booking. Terms & Conditions When booking a workshop run by Rachel Elizabeth , the following terms & conditions form the agreement between us (The Spotty Dog Place) and you (Participant) ● Workshops will require at least 3 participants to run, if the workshop has to be cancelled for this reason a full refund will be given. ● A workshop booking is not deemed confirmed until full payment is received. ● Payment is required in full at the point of booking and a space on the workshop will be confirmed by the email address you provided at the point of booking. ● Once a booking is confirmed by email it can only be cancelled if at least 15 days' notice is given by the participant whereupon, Rachel Elizabeth may offer to: Resell the place by approaching those on a reserve list if there is one. In that event, a full refund will be given. Transfer your booking to another workshop run by Rachel Elizabeth Should the alternative workshop be at a differing price, the difference will be rechargeable or refunded. Issue a credit note for another workshop run by Rachel Elizabeth ● If Rachel Elizabeth should cancel a workshop for any reason, she will contact you as soon as possible and an alternative date for the same workshop will be offered. If this cannot be fulfilled a full refund will be given.
