Service Description
Time to clay gives you the freedom to make your own creations with clay. At the start of the session your tutor will give you advice about hand building and show you some basic hand building techniques. You can then explore, experiment and create items from clay. Your tutor will be available throughout the workshop. Items can then be left to dry before being fired. You can return to paint them during a pottery painting session if you wish, this is included in the price. The session includes the use, firing and painting of up to 400g of clay. It is great for families, friends and individuals. Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by a full paying adult. Times: Saturday afternoons (once a month), Thursday afternoons in school holidays. Saturday January 31st 2pm-4pm Thursday February 19th 2pm-4pm Saturday February 21st 2pm-4pm Saturday March 14th 2pm-4pm Thursday April 2nd 2pm-4pm Thursday April 9th 2pm-4pm Saturday April 25th 2pm-4pm Saturday May 23rd 2pm-4pm Thursday May 28th 2pm-4pm Saturday June 27th 2pm-4pm IMPORTANT: Please note that the above days may vary from week to week due our staff's commitments elsewhere sometimes , so booking is essential. Price: £30 for the 2 hour session. This includes the use, firing and painting of up to 400g of clay. Location: The Spotty Dog Place, 5 Barton Street, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, GL20 5PP All materials and tools supplied. Please bring your own apron and hand towel. Labelling work is really important. We ask that you clearly sign your work with your initials and fill in a form to go along side your pottery. Tea, coffee and squash and biscuits are available during the workshop. Booking is essential. Payment due when booking. Terms & Conditions When booking a workshop run by Rachel Elizabeth , the following terms & conditions form the agreement between us (The Spotty Dog Place) and you (Participant) ● Workshops will require at least 3 participants to run, if the workshop has to be cancelled for this reason a full refund will be given. ● A workshop booking is not deemed confirmed until full payment is received. ● Payment is required in full at the point of booking and a space on the workshop will be confirmed by the email address you provided at the point of booking. ● Once a booking is confirmed by email it can only be cancelled if at least 15 days' notice is given by the participant whereupon, Rachel Elizabeth may offer to: Resell the place by approaching those on a reserve list if there is one. In that event, a full refund will be given. Transfer your booking to another workshop run by Rachel Elizabeth Should the alternative workshop be at a differing price, the difference will be rechargeable or refunded. Issue a credit note for another workshop run by Rachel Elizabeth ● If Rachel Elizabeth should cancel a workshop for any reason, she will contact you as soon as possible and an alternative date for the same workshop will be offered. If this cannot be fulfilled a full refund will be given.
